Popular Veteran singer, John Asiemo, fondly called Daddy Showkey, has frowned at the bandits’ attack on the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA).
First News had earlier reported that gunmen wearing army uniforms, in the early hours of Tuesday, invaded the country’s first military institution, the Nigerian Defence Academy, Afaka, Kaduna, where they killed two officers and abducted one.
It was learnt that the gunmen, who attacked from different parts of the premises, caught the officers on duty off guard, especially as they came in military camouflage.
However, reacting in a post via his Instagram page on Wednesday, Daddy Showkey said:
’These people are not bandits, they are mercenaries coming to take over Nigeria.
“It is a shame and disgrace to Nigeria. Our pride, the Nigeria Defense Academy was attacked, you people are still calling these people bandits.
”These people are not bandits, they are mercenaries coming to take over Nigeria.”
