Executive Secretary Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev Dr Yakubu Pam has congratulated Nigeria on her 63rd independence anniversary.
He said though Nigeria is still not there yet, but there is high hope for the future.
In a statement by the Deputy Director and Head Media and Public Relations, Celestine Toruka, Pam affirmed that the future of Nigeria is bright , but all Nigerians must work together to make this happen.
He congratulated President Bola TInubu for marking his first independence anniversary as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He lauded the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola TInubu led administration and urged Nigerians to be patient with the government as the best is yet to come.
In the words of the NCPC boss, ” life does not give us what we desire, rather it gives us what we deserve”.
He further urged the governments at all levels to be sensitive on the plight of ordinary Nigerians by embarking on people oriented projects and programmes.
He called on the clergy in Nigeria to always up hold Nigeria in prayers so that the enemies of the country would be dislodged and decimated.
He tasked the security agencies to step up efforts to put an end to kidnapping , banditry and other forms of social vices militating against the peaceful co existence of Nigerians.
According to him, ” Nigerians deserve the best, and should be able to sleep with their two eyes closed”
The NCPC boss stressed that the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims currently in the Holy land for the Easter pilgrimage completion exercise have been charged to take up the burden of Nigeria before God in prayer so that the Lord would grant Nigeria breakthrough in all the sectors of our economy.
