National Association of Nigeria Students on Saturday made a U-turn on its decision not to participate in the June 12 protest as its members led protesters in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State.
FirstNews had reported that NANS President, Sunday Asefon, in a statement on Friday suspended the body’s planned June 12 nationwide protest.
But against this directive, students of the Osun State chapter of the association, led a massive rally alongside other groups to protest the bad government in the country.
The Chairman of NANS JCI in Osun State, Comrade Oyelayo Afeez, who led its members en masse to Oke-Fia, said Nigeria situation is unbearable to live in.
They were noticed on the street chanting different songs to convey their plights.
