Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has shared a refreshing perspective on marriage, stating that she doesn’t dream about it the way many young girls do.
In a video making rounds on social media, the role interpreter candidly revealed during an interview on Creativity Live with Lynda that her vision of life differs from those who view marriage as a means of financial security.
Instead, Isime emphasized her passion for her craft and her focus on financial independence, stressing that her drive is centred on building her brand and working hard to create her own wealth.
“I’m actually scared of the limelight. When young girls used to sit down and dream about getting married, I never did.
“I used to dream of working and making money. I can spend on myself so much that another person cannot take the position of, ‘if it is not me, you won’t have this life’”, she shared.
