Rapper Megan Thee Stallion recently addressed the ongoing tension between herself and fellow rapper Nicki Minaj.
In an interview with Billboard Megan expressed confusion about the origins of their alleged feud, stating that she still doesn’t understand what led to the rift.
“I still, to this day, don’t know what the problem is. I don’t even know what could be reconciled because I, to this day, don’t know what the problem is,” she said.
The tension between the two artists seems to have originated from social media, where fans began comparing them and creating a rivalry.
This public speculation has since distanced the two rappers, preventing any collaboration and fueling the perception of them as rivals.
When asked about other artists targeting her in their music, Megan commented, “I’m going to keep doing what I’m doing. If people feel like I’m somebody to aim at, then I must be pretty high up if you’re reaching up at me.
“I must be some kind of competition. That makes me feel good. That makes me feel like I could rap because if I wasn’t the s**t, y’all wouldn’t be worried about me.”
