Spiritual Director, Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria Catholic Chaplaincy, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has returned from monastery after an eight-month suspension.
Earlier in 2022, Mbaka’s Adoration Ministry was closed down while on June 3, 2022 the Catholic Diocese of Enugu banned the fiery cleric from commenting on political issues after it suspended activities in the Ministry.
But following its reopening, the Church converted the ministry into Chaplaincy to enable it to monitor the excesses in the ministry.
Also the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. Callistus Onaga, had in October 2022 transferred Mbaka from the chaplaincy to the monastery.
The Church immediately announced Rev. Fr. Anthony Amadi to replace him (Mbaka) as the new chaplain of the Adoration Ministry Chaplaincy.
