There is uncertainty on the future of Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, at the club over their continued lack of transfers in the current transfer season, according to Record.
Ronaldo, who returned to Old Trafford last summer, 13 years after leaving for Real Madrid, was said to be reconsidering his stay at the club.
He reportedly issued his club an ultimatum, “Up your game or I’ll leave”.
Manchester United finished sixth in the Premier League last season despite the forward scoring 24 goals in 38 games across all competitions.
The 37-year-old, whose current contract runs out next year, has not made any announcement on his next move but there are rumours linking him to Bayern Munich after the Bundesliga champions signed former Liverpool forward Sadio Mane.
Although United have made interest in Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong, Ajax winger Antony and Darwin Nunez who already joined Liverpool, they are still yet to make a single signing compared to the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea.
