Nigerian Correctional Service on Friday released the names and images of terrorism inmates and detainees who escaped from the Kuje Medium Custodial Centre in the Federal Capital Territory on Tuesday night.
The fleeing inmates had escaped from the prison on Tuesday night following an attack on the facility by members of the Islamic for West Africa Province.
Minister of Defence, Maj Gen Bashir Magashi, had said on Wednesday that all the Boko Haram terrorists kept in the facility escaped during the attack.
But ISWAP in a 30-second video on Wednesday night claimed responsibility for the attack.
NCoS spokesperson, Umar Abubakar, in a statement on Wednesday, disclosed that 879 inmates fled but 443 of the escapees had been recaptured, bringing the total number of inmates in the facility to 578.
But the names and photographs of those being tried for terrorism released by the service showed 69 inmates.
Some of them include, Abdulkareem Musa, Abdulsalam Adamu, Bello Haruna , Ismail Abdullahi , Modu Aji, Yakubu Abdullahi, Abdulmannan Obadiki, Abubakar Umar.
Others are Bassey Kingsley, Diko Iko, Fannami Bukar, Ishaq Farouq, Mohammed Buba and Mohammed Kyari, among others.
