Second Republic Senator, Junaid Mohammed, has advised President Muhammad Buhari to immediately sack the service chiefs in the country as a panacea to the looming insecurity in Nigeria.
This is coming as several students were kidnapped by yet to be identified gunmen in a school in Kankara, Katsina state.
The northern leader while speaking with FirstNewsonline.com wondered why the president still keeps the service chiefs with the level of insecurity in the country.
The elder states man added that the kidnap incident in Katsina was a big blow to Nigerian security system, adding that that the incident portrayed that nobody is safe in Nigeria.
“I still keep wondering the essence of the service chiefs that Buhari is still keeping at the expense of the common citizens’ lives. The Katsina issue portray that this country is not safe for individuals again. The more Buhari wakes up the more it will be good for Nigeria. We cannot continue like this. Something must be done”
Meanwhile, various Nigerians have expressed displeasure over the insecurity level in the country.
President Buhari last week Jettisoned call by House of Representatives over the insecurity in the country.
