Popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has reacted to the court sentencing of a colleague, Baba Ijesha, to a 16-year jail term over sexual assault of a minor.
First news reported that an Ikeja Special Offences Court found the actor, real name, Olanrewaju James guilty of sexually assaulting Comedien Princess’s foster daughter.
Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo after two hours’ judgement, sentenced Baba Ijesha to 16 years in jail.
Iyabo Ojo, who has been at the forefront of the case demanding Justice for the victim, took to Instagram to dedicate the judgement to abused children.
Her post read, “To all the girl child and boy being abused, do not be afraid to speak up and speak out
“This victory is for you. Say no to rape.”
