I’m Sick of Disgusting Attacks on Kamala Harris — Cardi B

American rapper Cardi B recently voiced her frustration over the negative stereotypes successful women encounter in today’s society.

She highlighted how, even though women often put in significantly more effort and outperform their male peers, their accomplishments are frequently diminished, attributed to physical appearance, or dismissed as mere manipulation of their bodies to get ahead.

In a statement shared on her X account on Saturday, Cardi expressed disgust over what she described as “attacks” on U.S. Vice President and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, arguing that Harris faces harsh criticism simply for being a woman.

Drawing parallels between their experiences, Cardi added that, like Harris, she’s often been underestimated and has had her achievements unfairly discredited.

She wrote, “Just like Kamala Harris, I have been the underdog and I have been underestimated!! My success always discredited.

“Let me tell you something, women have to work ten times harder and perform ten times better and still our success comes with excuses… its because she’s pretty or because she slept her way to the top. I see the disgusting attacks against Kamala and it’s not only angered me but has motivated me more now than ever to not just say something, but to do something!… I can’t stand a bully!”

Cardi B’s post on X follows her recent appearance at Kamala Harris’ rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, held on Friday night, where she officially voiced her support for the Democratic Party’s candidate in this month’s presidential election.
