The Acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has provided reassurance to all Nigerian citizens regarding the enhancement of general security measures to safeguard lives and property across the nation.
The IGP has restated the Nigeria Police Force’s unwavering commitment, under his leadership, to establish a prominent role within Nigeria’s internal security framework.
To further advance his vision and diligently work towards achieving his objectives, the Acting IGP will convene a meeting with Commanders of the seventy-nine (79) Police Mobile Force Squadrons on Monday, June 26, 2023, at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
According to a statement by Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, the meeting aims “to upskill them on new operational strategies for improved training, deployments and enhanced tactical engagements for better public safety and general security for all and sundry”.
“The Ag. IGP assures that the present leadership of the force has outlined an array of policing approaches that will be of immense importance to general public safety in Nigeria.”
