Hunters Uncover Two Bodies Believed to Be Bandits in Kaduna Forest

Hunters have reportedly stumbled upon two bodies, believed to be fleeing bandits, within the Kurmin-Kare forest area in Kachia, Kaduna State.

This discovery comes shortly after a clash last Saturday in Mai-Iddo village, where soldiers engaged in a firefight with suspected bandits, leading to the deaths of three of the armed men.

During the raid, four abducted farmers, one of whom was a woman, were successfully rescued.

A local source revealed that two hunters from nearby Kurmin-Kare village spotted the bodies on a rocky hill on Monday.

According to the source, the village chief confirmed that the bodies, thought to be of bandits, who fled the encounter at Mai-Iddo, were found with multiple gunshot wounds.

As of now, ASP Hassan Mansur, spokesperson for the Kaduna State Police Command, has yet to confirm the report.
