Honorable Musa Umar Bororo has bagged the traditional title of Rumbun Adamawa, an honour done to him by the Lamido of Adamawa, HRH Dr. Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha.
Musa, a former member of the Adamawa State House of Assembly who represented the Constituency of Mubi North, got the honour following the demise of Hon Idi Aminu, who was the last holder of the title.
Musa also confirmed to this medium that Amnan Shelleng, HRH Isa Disong has equally given him the title of Magayakin Shelleng.
The awards were given because of Musa’s love for the people and rendering selfless service to humanity.
While thanking the Lamido of Adamawa Amnan Shelleng, Musa poured his heart-touched appreciation to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for supporting him in the distinguished traditional honour.
He said Governor Ahmadu is truly a selfless leader whose vision for the people of Adamawa is to create a new state for the good of everyone.
According to him, he remains grateful and prays God to give him the much-needed wisdom to govern the state to the desire of all people and the basic expectation of everyone to be met.
He assured the two paramount rulers that he will diligent in carrying out his duties as the son of the Emirate councils well.
