The United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres who was at the Presidential Villa Abuja, on Wednesday where he had a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, reportedly broached with the President on how to tackle terrorism in the West African sub-region.
Guterres was earlier in Borno State where he met with some repentant terrorists and advocated for their re-integration into society, especially those who voluntarily surrendered to military authorities.
Sources within the presidency said the meeting between both leaders centred around security challenges affecting Nigeria and how to tackle them.
