Gov Sani Unveils New Commissioners, Key Appointments

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has unveiled a dynamic team of appointees, signaling a bold step towards enhanced governance and service delivery.

Among the key appointments is James Atung Kanyip, now entrusted with the critical role of Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs.

In a statement released on the 30th of November, 2024, Mallam Ibraheem Musa, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, announced other notable appointees, including Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed as Commissioner for Finance and Barde Yunana Markus as Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs.

Farida Abubakar Ahmed has been named Executive Director (Radio) of the Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC).

The lineup also features Vitus Azuka Ewuzie as Senior Special Assistant for Legal Matters and Francis Damina as Senior Special Assistant for Research and Documentation.

Victor Mathew Bobai takes on the role of Senior Special Assistant for Public Affairs, while Abdulmutallib Isah becomes Senior Special Assistant for Special Duties, and Abdulhaleem Ishaq Ringim assumes the position of Special Assistant for Economic Matters.

The appointments, effective immediately, underscore Governor Uba Sani’s commitment to reinvigorating his administration and driving transformative progress across the state.
