Popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has exposed a scammer named Prosper, who has been using her identity to solicit money.
The mother of two posted a screenshot showing how the scammer used her name and photo to deceive unsuspecting individuals into sending money.
In one of the WhatsApp conversations shared by Funke, the scammer requested a loan of N200,000 from a victim, promising to repay it the next day.
While warning her fans to be vigilant against such scams, Funke wrote, “Please beware! This is not from me! Prosper, you will not prosper! Thief!”
She also urged the public to stay alert and not fall victim to such fraudulent schemes.
