Fubara to Swear in Four Commissioners on Tuesday

The Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, is set to swear in four newly appointed Commissioners on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.

According to a special government announcement released by the Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Tammy Wenike Danagogo, the swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Port Harcourt.

The four Commissioners-designate have already been screened and cleared by the State House of Assembly. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m., with the Commissioners-designate and one guest each expected to be seated by 10:30 a.m.

This development marks a significant step in Governor Fubara’s administration, as the newly appointed Commissioners are expected to fill critical roles in the state’s Executive Council.

Their appointment follows the governor’s ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and advance his administration’s agenda for Rivers State.

The state is expected to witness an increase in activity at Government House, Port Harcourt, as the swearing-in ceremony draws closer.
