Governors elected under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gathered behind closed doors on Monday, April 14, at the Oyo State Government Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan, for a crucial meeting of the PDP Governors’ Forum.
This was made known in a post on X by PDP’s official handle.
Led by Forum Chairman and Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, the governors convened at the Executive Council Chamber, with the host, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, expected to join them shortly after hosting the delegation to a dinner the previous evening.
Conspicuously absent from the Sunday night event was Rivers State Governor and Forum Vice Chairman, Siminalayi Fubara, whose attendance at Monday’s session remained uncertain.
