First Lady Remi Tinubu Honored with ‘Ugosimba 1 of Enugu’ Chieftaincy

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, received a significant honor this week, being conferred with the prestigious chieftaincy title of “Ugosimba 1 of Enugu” during her two-day working visit to Enugu State.

The title, translating to “Jewel of Empowerment” in Igbo, recognizes her dedicated work in promoting women’s empowerment and broader social development across the nation.

Traditional rulers in Enugu State bestowed the honor upon Senator Tinubu in a vibrant and symbolic ceremony.
