Nigerian retired police officers have put plans in place to storm the National Assembly complex, Abuja on Tuesday in demand for the removal of police personnel from the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) the commission.
They urged that deductions should no longer be made from policemen and officers’ income into the purse of the Commission.
It was gathered that delegates from the 36 states of the federation partook in the protest, except those from Imo and Rivers states who were in court over the subject matter.
Reports indicated that most of the protestants are already in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja ahead of the planned protest.
