The Labour Party Publicity Secretary in Enugu State, Mr Titus Odo, has returned to the Peoples Democratic Party, alongside Prince Emeka Mamah, a former Commissioner and coordinator of Peter Obi’s 2023 presidential campaign in the state.
The two political figures, who left the PDP ahead of the last general election to support the Labour Party, were officially received back into the PDP on Wednesday, April 30, at the party’s State Secretariat.
Welcoming them, the PDP Chairman in Enugu State, Dr Martin Chukwunwike, said their return was a result of ongoing efforts directed by Governor Peter Mbah to reconcile and reintegrate aggrieved members.
“We are happy to have them in our midst, and God has set this party on a good foot as 2027 is already assured,” Chukwunwike said.
He also called on party members to close ranks and prepare strategically for the next election cycle.
In his remarks, Odo said he was excited to be back in what he described as his political home, attributing his return to the impressive achievements of Governor Mbah.

“I am happy to tell you that I am back to my home. I came back because of the giant developmental strides of Gov Mbah, and I say kudos to him,” he said.
Odo added that he was also motivated by the defection of Dr Chijioke Edeoga, the Labour Party’s 2023 governorship candidate in Enugu State, and the remarkable transformation of Igboeze North under Council Chairman Uchenna Ogara.
“The second reason is the defection of my immediate boss, the LP Governorship candidate for the 2023 election in Enugu State, Dr Chijioke Edeoga.
“Another reason is that the Council Chairman in Igboeze North, Mr Uchenna Ogara is turning the Council Area into a township,” he added.
Prince Mamah also expressed gratitude to PDP leaders in Igboeze North, Enugu North senatorial zone, and the state party leadership for welcoming him back.
He praised Governor Mbah’s inclusive approach and performance, saying, “Personally, I am pleased with the performances of our governor.”
