Elon Musk’s Trans Daughter Plans U.S. Exit After Trump Win

Vivian Wilson, the 20-year-old transgender daughter of tech billionaire Elon Musk, has revealed her intentions to leave the United States, citing discomfort with the country’s political climate after Donald Trump’s recent election win.

Wilson made the announcement on Threads, as reported by the UK’s Daily Mail.

“I don’t see my future in the United States,” Wilson stated.
“I’ve thought this for a while, but yesterday confirmed it for me. Even if he’s only in office for four years, even if anti-trans regulations don’t materialize, the people who voted for this aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.”

Born as Xavier Musk in 2004, Wilson legally changed her name and gender in 2022, taking her mother’s surname and distancing herself from Musk.

In court filings, she expressed her desire to sever ties, stating, “I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape, or form.”

Elon Musk, who has been vocal about his support for Trump, has also openly discussed his troubled relationship with Wilson. Calling her a “communist” who views wealth as inherently negative.

Musk, 53, claimed he had been “misled” into approving her use of puberty blockers.

“I was essentially tricked into signing documents for Xavier,” he explained. “I didn’t fully understand what was happening at the time; it was during COVID, and I was told Xavier might commit suicide.”

Musk has previously criticized puberty blockers, referring to them as “sterilization drugs,” and described gender dysphoria as “incredibly evil,” insisting that those promoting it “should go to prison.” He expressed, “I lost my son… They call it ‘deadnaming’ because your son is dead, killed by the woke mind virus.”

Responding to her father’s comments, Wilson said Musk was largely absent from her life and often disapproved of her identity.

“He doesn’t know what I was like as a child because he simply wasn’t there,” she noted. “I was relentlessly harassed for my femininity and queerness. I’ve been reduced to a stereotype. I think that says a lot about how he views queer people and children in general.”

Vivian Wilson’s decision to leave the U.S. highlights the growing tension within families around social and political issues, particularly on transgender rights and acceptance.

The ongoing feud between Musk and Wilson underscores the deeply personal and public challenges faced by families with differing views on identity and politics.
