Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, says he has never failed in any election before.
Tinubu stated this while addressing APC members at a rally held on Tuesday in Ekiti ahead of Saturday’s governorship election in the state to round off the campaign of the party’s candidate, Biodun Oyebanji.
“I’ve never failed an election before,” the APC presidential flagbearear said in Yoruba, urging the people to vote in order to have money.
He said, “To ba t’eka, o le te owo o,” he said, meaning, “if you don’t vote, you can’t hold money.”
He also described the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party as a “poverty development party,” and called on the electorate in the state to vote for the APC in Ekiti on Saturday and in next year’s presidential election.
