All Progressives Congress has been declared winner of the ongoing governorship election in Ikere and Emure Local Government Areas of Ekiti State.
From the results announced at the LGA collation centre in Ikere, Abiodun Oyebanji of the APC polled 12,086 votes to beat Peoples Democratic Party’s Bisi Kolawole, who garnered 3,789 votes and Segun Oni of the Social Democratic Party, who came a distant third with 1934 votes.
Oyebanji polled 7,728 votes in Emure with Oni trailing him with 3,445 votes. PDP’s Kolawole followed him with 2,610 votes.
