National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, says Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is not his son.
Tinubu stated this on Monday in Abuja, in an interview with newsmen shortly after holding a meeting with 12 APC governors.
Tinubu’s meeting with the APC governors at the Kebbi Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro in Abuja, came hours after Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo declared his intention to contest the 2023 presidential election.
When Tinubu was asked to comment on his “son,” Osinbajo’s declaration of interest in the 2023 presidential poll, the APC national leader said he had no son old enough to declare, don’t have any son grown up enough to make such declaration.”
He, however, said his meeting with governors on the platform of the party was to seek collaboration, support and encouragement concerning his 2023 presidential ambition.
