A High Court sitting in Ibadan Oyo State has ordered the Department of State Security (DSS) and Attorney General of the Federation not to arrest, intimidate, harass or block bank accounts of Chief Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho.
This is coming as Justice Ladiean Akintola of the High Court granted the ex-parte motion moved by Igboho’s lawyer, Chief Yomi Aliu (SAN), at the court on Wednesday.
The motion emanated from the application requesting N500 billion damages for the invasion of the Yoruba activist’s house in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital on July 1.
Meanwhile, Aliu has said the AGF would not disobey the court, adding that the order was against his office.
FirstNews had reported that Igboho’s house was raided by the DSS operatives on July 1 where his properties were allegedly damaged.
