Five students fingered in the death of Sylvester Oromoni, a student of Dowen College, Lekki, Lagos, have been remanded by a Magistrate Court in Lagos.
The suspects were remanded in a juvenile home following an order obtained from the Yaba Magistrates court by the police.
The Lagos Police Public Relation Officer, Adekunle Ajisebutu, while hinting on the development said: “They have not been arraigned yet. They were only remanded in a juvenile home pending the conclusion of investigation into the matter.”
FirstNews had reported that Oromoni died after sustaining injuries from an attack by a group of senior students for allegedly refusing to join a cult group in the school.
