Chidinma Adetshina Crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2024

In a dazzling display of poise and elegance, 23-year-old Chidinma Adetshina has been crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2024.

The victory comes after a tumultuous few months for Adetshina, who previously made headlines for withdrawing from the Miss South Africa 2024 pageant following a social media uproar surrounding her nationality.

Representing Taraba State, Adetshina emerged victorious in the prestigious competition, outshining four other finalists: Miss Rivers State, Miss Anambra State, Miss Ondo State, and Miss Edo State. Her win secures her a spot at the global Miss Universe pageant, set to take place in Mexico this November, where she will represent Nigeria on the world stage.

In addition to the coveted crown, Adetshina walks away with a grand prize of N10 million. The first runner-up, Miss Anambra, will also have the opportunity to showcase her talents internationally, as she is set to participate in the Miss Supranational pageant.

During her acceptance speech, Chidinma Adetshina expressed deep gratitude and emphasized that her new role as Miss Universe Nigeria is more than just a title.

“This crown is a call to action,” she stated, signaling her intent to use her platform to inspire and drive positive change.

Adetshina’s journey to the crown has been anything but ordinary, and her resilience and determination have earned her the admiration of many.

As she prepares to represent Nigeria on the global stage, the nation eagerly awaits to see the impact she will undoubtedly make.
