Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku is set to rejoin Inter Milan on an eight million Euro (€8m) loan after an impressive run at Chelsea, scoring eight Premier League goals and 15 goals in all for the club this season as its top scorer.
The Belgian striker joined Chelsea in August last season for £97.5m but expressed desire to leave the club in December, reportedly agreeing to a pay cut to leave Stamford Bridge.
Recall that in December, Lukaku featured in a controversial interview with an Italian TV, admitting he was unhappy with the way Chelsea played under Thomas Tuchel and hoped to return to Inter–where he scored 64 goals in 95 games and helped them win the Serie A title.
Chelsea also reportedly have their focus set on five potential replacements for Romelu Lukaku this summer.
According to reports, Robert Lewandowski, Richarlison, Jonathan David, Victor Osimhen and Gianluca Scamacca are all under the club’s searchlight.
