The ban placed on Adoration Ministry, where controversial cleric, Ejike Mbaka, ministers, has been lifted by the Catholic Diocese of Enugu.
Mbaka disclosed this in a statement on his Facebook page on Thursday.
He said, ”Dear Adorers, to the glory of God, Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria Amen, starts on Sunday 2nd October 2022 with 10am Mass at the Adoration ground Umuchigbo Iji Nike Emene Enugu State.
“God bless you miraculously as you come to worship God with us, Rev Fr, Ejike Mbaka”
The Enugu Catholic Diocese in June 2023 banned church members from attending “all religious and liturgical activities” at the ministry.
According to the Catholic Bishop of Enugu, Callistus Onaga, the ban followed persistent disobedience to canonical laws by Mbaka.
The ban came after Mbaka made a mockery of himself and the church as he incited Nigerians against the candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi.
After Obi refused to make a financial pledge during the ministry’s programme, Mbaka asked his members to vote against Obi in the 2023 election, saying he is “stingy and wicked.”
