Popular Nigerian actress Caroline Danjuma, better known as Carolyna Hutchings, has refuted singer Oritsefemi’s assertions that she was “legally married” to Tagbo Umeike, a former friend and colleague of Davido.
Recall that Oritsefemi said Caroline was married to the late Tagbo in an interview with Chude Jideonwo.
He also accused Caroline of pressuring his wife to wed him due to his wealth, which he said, got him to marry Nabila Fash.
Caroline, however, in a statement debunked the claim and said that she had only been married to her ex-husband, Musa Danjuma, who is the father of her children.
“For clarification, the only man Dr Carolyna Danjuma Hutchings has ever been married to and has children for is her ex-husband, Chief Barrister Musa Danjuma,”. However, she issued a threat to sue Oritsefemi.
“Finally, our legal team, in view of these despicable claims made by a said Oritsefemi against our focused and amiable client, Dr Carolyna Danjuma Hutchings, will be taking legal actions against Mr Oritsefemi.
“We are interested in the said civil marriage certificate and pictures inclusive of all evidence to prove his claims beyond reasonable doubt which he boldly made on a recent podcast show,” the statement read.
