Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has strongly condemned the recurring mistreatment of Vinicius Jr. in Spanish stadiums, emphasizing that the abuse directed at the Brazilian winger has crossed the line of what should be acceptable in football.

Speaking to the press, Ancelotti expressed his frustration over the constant whistles and insults aimed at Vinicius during matches, including even warm-up sessions.

The Real Madrid boss called for more attention to be given to the toxic atmosphere created by some fans in the stands, rather than solely focusing on the player himself.

“What happens to Vinicius every year is something that can’t be tolerated,” Ancelotti stated. “Whistles and many insults even during warm-ups—this is not normal. They shouldn’t pay much attention to Vini but should focus more on what happens in the stadiums.”

Ancelotti’s comments come amidst growing concerns about the hostile treatment Vinicius has faced during La Liga matches. The young forward has often been targeted by opposing fans with jeers, insults, and even racial abuse, raising questions about the measures taken to protect players from such hostile environments.

Despite the pressure, Vinicius has continued to shine on the pitch, but the toll of constant negativity is a point of concern for Ancelotti and the club. The Italian manager’s remarks reflect a broader issue within football, where the behavior of fans toward players has at times gone unchecked, sparking calls for stronger actions to combat abuse in stadiums.

With the spotlight once again on Vinicius, it remains to be seen whether La Liga officials will take further steps to address the ongoing issue and ensure a safer, more respectful atmosphere for players.
