The All Progressives Congress, which is now in power, has been informed by President Muhammadu Buhari that only internal unity can guarantee success in the general elections of 2023.
The President stated that winning the elections requires everyone to work together in harmony.
At the weekend, President Buhari held a speech in Daura when he hosted Dr. Dikko Radda, the APC’s candidate for governor, and Faruk Lawal Jobe, Radda’s running mate.
He stated that party leaders must unite in order to prevent disagreements and ensure unity in order to win elections.
The President stated that he frequently received updates on the campaigns that were taking place in Katsina State and was pleased to see that so much effort was being put into the exercise.
Adding that the results in Anambra, Ekiti, and Osun were proof of his resolve, President Buhari reaffirmed his commitment to allowing the country to hold free, credible elections.
He continued by expressing his gratitude for the invitation and his wishes for the party’s success in the competitions.
