Despite the warning by the members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Imo State.
He was welcome bu many dignitaries as his jet landed at the Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri, the state capital.
FirstNews had reported that the state governor, Hope Uzodinma, had announced Buhari’s visit.
According to him, the president would commission some projects during his visit to the state.
IPOB had warned Buhari against visiting Imo State and even declared a sit-at-home in the state this Thursday, asking people not to welcome the president.
