Boniface Shines on Return as Leverkusen Cruise Past Hoffenheim 3-1

Victor Boniface marked his return from injury in style as Bayer Leverkusen secured a commanding 3-1 victory over Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga on Sunday.

The Nigerian forward wasted no time making an impact, playing a key role in his side’s dominant performance.

Boniface opened the scoring in the 15th minute, announcing his comeback with a well-taken goal that set the tone for Leverkusen’s dominance.

Just two minutes later, Jeremie Frimpong doubled the lead, putting Xabi Alonso’s men in firm control of the game.

Leverkusen continued their attacking display in the second half, with Patrik Schick extending the advantage to 3-0 in the 51st minute.

Hoffenheim managed to pull one back through Gift Orban in the 62nd minute, but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation as the visitors comfortably saw out the match.

The victory strengthens Leverkusen’s position at the top of the Bundesliga table, with Boniface’s return adding further firepower to their title charge.
