Nottingham Forest fans will continue to revel throughout the weekend over Taiwo Awoniyi’s goal against West Ham that secured Forest’s first EPL win in almost three decades.
Awoniyi who is Forest’s record signing at £17 million, came off as a substitute to justify his signing, scoring the lone goal of the game just after the start of the second half.
The win is Nottingham Forest first EPL ever at their home ground since 1999.
Taiwo Awoniyi was signed from Union Berlin for a club record fee.
