Atlanta Rapper Rich Homie Quan dies at 34

The music world mourns the tragic loss of Atlanta-based rapper, Rich Homie Quan, whose real name was Dequantes Devontay Lamar.

He was confirmed dead at the age of 34, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner.

TMZ reports that Quan’s girlfriend discovered him unresponsive on their couch, with alarming signs of distress, including foaming at the mouth. She immediately called 911, but it was too late.

Rich Homie Quan first made his mark in 2013 with the breakout hit “Type of Way,” quickly establishing himself as a powerful voice in hip-hop.

He followed up with fan-favorites like “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” and “Ride Out,” cementing his place in the industry. Over his career, he collaborated with renowned artists like 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Gucci Mane, and Trinidad James, leaving behind an influential legacy.

His sudden passing has left a void in the music scene, and fans are reeling from the loss of a true talent.
