Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, visited Enugu State on Tuesday and reiterated his commitment to reunifying the nation.
Former vice president Atiku traveled with his running mate, Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, to meet with stakeholders.
When he landed at Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and other party supporters greeted him.
At a meeting with stakeholders, Atiku reaffirmed his affection for Ndigbo and explained why he chose Igbo men to be his running mates in 2019 and for the 2023 election.
In addition, he assured them of his determination to reform Nigeria and establish true federalism..
Okowa, for his part, remained adamant that the PDP will reunite Nigeria and revive the faltering economy.
Representatives from the five southern states supported the Waziri Adamawa during the event.
