One of the heavy losers in the All Progressives Congress presidential primary, Senator Rochas Okorocha, has congratulated the winner of the exercise, Senator Bola Tinubu.
Okorocha, a former Imo State governor and current Imo West senator, spoke for the first time since scoring zero votes during the Tuesday presidential primary of the APC in Abuja.
In a statement on Friday by his Special Adviser ( Media), Sam Onwuemeodo, Okorocha wished Tinubu success.
He said, ”I commend all those who participated in the APC party primary for its presidential ticket.
“I congratulate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on his victory at the Presidential Primary election of the All Progressives Congress, APC.”
Okorocha’s congratulatory message is coming amid speculations in some quarters that he may dump the APC after failing to clinch the ticket.
