The presidential primary election of the ruling All Progressives Congress has been concluded and the national leader of the party, Bola Tinubu, is the party’s flag bearer for the 2023 presidential poll.
The primary exercise was concluded with some two aspirants who showed their oratory skills and made fantastic promises to reset Nigeria in their speech at the Eagles Square, the venue of the primary, not scoring a single vote, not even their own votes.
The aspirants are the senior pastor of Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC), Tunde Bakare, and former Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha.
The two of them had spoken very well and made promises on how they would turn Nigeria around if elected president.
However, the result of the exercise announced this Wednesday, showed they secured not even a single vote.
Recall that Bakare has, before the exercise and during the exercise, boasted that he carries God’s grace and was going to be the next president of Nigeria.
Tien Jack-Rich is another aspirant who scored zero votes at the just concluded exercise.
