Governor Mai Mala Buni has handed over to Abdullahi Adamu as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Adamu, a serving Senator, and a former governor of Nasarawa State took over from Buni as the new chairman of the APC at the party’s headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday.
Over 70 new leaders of the party were also confirmed as members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC.
Adamu emerged as chairman at the APC convention which was held at the Eagle Square in Abuja last Saturday, after other aspirants for the position stepped down.
