Nigeria’s Rasheedat Ajibade, and Osinachi Ohale have been named in the Best XI for the just concluded 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations as released by the Confederation of African Football, CAF.
Ajibade finished as the joint top scorer the tournament, scoring in the 2-1 defeat to South Africa as well as in the games against Burundi and Cameroon.
Ohale was a solid rock in Nigeria’s defence, holding back opponents from finding the back of the net against Nigeria.
Champions South Africa had four players, Runners up Morocco had three players while third-place team Zambia was represented by two players to make the tournament’s Best XI.
