Gifted Markson
Super Eagles veteran Ahmed Musa made a spectacular return to football after a nine-month absence, leading Kano Pillars to a 2-0 victory over Sunshine Stars in an electrifying encounter.
The former Nigerian captain, who recently rejoined the NPFL side, wasted no time reminding fans of his prowess on the field with two clinical goals.
Musa opened the scoring as early as the 5th minute, calmly slotting home a well-placed pass to give his side an early advantage.

However, the afternoon wasn’t entirely flawless for the 31-year-old forward. In the 70th minute, Musa missed the chance to complete a hat-trick after failing to convert a penalty, sending his effort wide.
Despite the missed opportunity, Musa’s performance was nothing short of remarkable, showcasing his fitness and determination after a long spell away from the pitch.
Kano Pillars held on to their two-goal lead, securing a vital win in the NPFL and giving fans plenty to cheer about.
Musa’s explosive debut undoubtedly signals the beginning of an exciting new chapter for both the player and his team.
