The Super Eagles camp is now complete following the arrival of star striker Victor Osimhen at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Thursday.

His presence brings the total number of players to 23 as the team prepares for the crucial Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Benin Republic on Saturday.

Osimhen, who recently completed a season-long loan move from Napoli to Turkish giants Galatasaray, wasted no time in joining his teammates on the training pitch.

His arrival has further boosted the morale of the team as they aim to secure qualification for the 2024 AFCON tournament.

The Super Eagles will be relying heavily on Osimhen’s firepower up front, with the striker’s recent form making him one of the most feared attackers in African football.

As the training intensifies, head coach José Peseiro is expected to finalize his tactics, with Osimhen likely to lead the line against the Benin Squirrels.

With all players now in camp, the focus is firmly on securing a positive result and advancing to the continental tournament in Côte d’Ivoire.
