Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike, has implored the Nigerian government to instantly release his colleague, Chiwetalu Agu.
The actor made the request while criticising the arrest of Agu by the Nigerian Army.
Recall that Chiwetalu Agu was apprehended on Thursday in Onitsha for wearing clothing made with the Biafran flag.
However, Ike on Friday informed President Muhammadu Buhari-led’s administration to use dialogue, asserting that tyranny never pays in cases like this.
He also urged the release of Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho; leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu; and other “victims of conscience”.
Ike said that the world is watching and history never forgets.
“Release Chiwetalu Agu now, release all victims of conscience.
“Your belief is you, your ideology is you. Tyranny never pays, dialogue is golden.
“Release Nnamdi Kanu, Sunday Igboho. The world is watching history never forgets. Heal Nigeria in Jesus name.”
