Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma
has called on members of the Alll Progressives Congress in the state to ignore the opposition party that is “only strong on social media with no political structure on ground.”
Uzodinma did not mention the name of any political party, however, it is obvious he was referring to Peter Obi and his Labour Party as critics of the LP’s presidential candidate have been claiming that he and his political party are only strong on social media without a structure required to win a presidential election in Nigeria.
Addressing some members of APC in Owerri, Uzodinma said, “This opposition that is only strong on social media with no political structure on the ground, you are listening to them.
“Our people should not be deceived. Don’t let anybody deceive you.
“If you follow a party that is reminding you of the agony of the past but is not interested in telling you how you will better your tomorrow, you don’t have to blame anybody.
“But as a people, as a party, I am here as the governor of the state through a political party called APC. That is our political party.”
