The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu was not present when the peace agreement for the 2023 elections was signed.
The National Peace Committee organized the event, which took place on Thursday, at the International Conference Center in Abuja.
The agreement, according to NPC Chairman, Abdulsalami Abubakar, was made to encourage peaceful electioneering.
Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party; Peter Obi, the candidate for the Labour Party;, and Omoyele Sowore, the candidate for the African Action Congress (AAC), were all in attendance.
The APC vice-presidential candidate Kashim Shettima attended the ceremony on Tinubu’s behalf.
