Pastor Tunde Bakare, the Serving Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, Nigeria, has officially declared his ambition to run for the 2023 Presidency.
He declared his interest in Abuja on Monday, promising that if voted as the next president of Nigeria he would be the bridge between the past, present and the future.
Bakare purchased APC’s N100 million nomination and expression of interests forms on Thursday, May 5, to contest the 2023 presidential primary in Abuja.
Formally announcing his interest for the position on Monday, he said, “I will be a conciliatory bridge between what was, what is and what should be.”
He went further to unveil a four-point agenda – peace, progress, prosperity and possibility.
The cleric also said, “We would execute a decentralised, private-sector driven electricity reform agenda that would see to the generation of 100, 000 megawatts of electricity by 2030.”
