Datti Baba-Ahmed, a vice presidential candidate for the Labour Party, claims that if his party is chosen to lead Nigeria during the February 2023 presidential election, it would put an end to the current security problems that plague the nation.
He made the pledge in Sokoto during an interview with journalists when he also voiced confidence that the Labour Party would triumph in the 2023 presidential election.
He claimed that his party would heavily rely on technology and involve stakeholders to safeguard every square meter of Nigerian land and put an end to terrorist and bandit activities.
Due to Peter Obi, the party’s presidential candidate, who has extensive experience and knowledge in economic topics, Baba-Ahmed further pledged that his party would deliberately implement programs and policies to revive the country’s economy and stop the rising inflation.
When the Labour Party assumes control of the government, Baba-Ahmed claimed, the ongoing dispute between the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of the University would be resolved since education will be given the highest priority under their rule.
